Linda and Heart win the 2020
Westminster Master Obedience Class!
This is the 5th straight year that this team has won the
Westminster KC Master Obedience Championship
and they have retired the trophy!

Linda Brennan has trained with Betsy Scapicchio since 1986. Linda started out as an instructor for Morris Hills Dog Training Club and now has been an instructor at Top Dog since 1991.

Linda and Heart 1st place overall at the 2016 Regional Qualifier in NH.
Linda and Heart won the first ever Westminster KC Obedience Trial in Feb 2016, and went on to win it again in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, retiring the trophy!
Linda and Heart won the Masters Class at the 2015 AKC Classic and won it again in 2016.
Heart has earned three perfect 200 scores in Beginner Novice, Open B and Utility B.
Linda and Heart 1st place overall at the 2015 Regional Qualifier in Bloomsburg PA.
Linda and Heart have earned 280 OTCH points in just five months!
At the 2014 All Star Championships Heart won Novice Obedience, second in Excellent Rally and won Ultimate dog. Not to be out done, Spell won Super Rally.
Heart placed first in Novice Rally at the 2014 AKC Rally National Championship.
Spell placed second in the RAE division at the 2015 AKC Rally National Championships.
Earned CD, CDX, UD, and OTCH on Spy (BC) in 11 months. Only 9 shows to earn his OTCH!
Earned CD, CDX, UD and OTCH on Heart (Lab) in 10 months. Only 4 shows to earn her OTCH!
Earned HITs and Dogworld Awards with Ruby (Welsh Springer), Kate (Golden) and Spy (BC).
Placed second in Novice at the 2000 Classic with Spy. Placed in Super Star at the All Star Championships in
2002, 2003 and 2005.
Linda and Spy have earned 27 HITs, 16 HCs, over 1000 OTCH points, and over 60 first places.
Earned the first MACH title on a Welsh Springer with Maddie.
Placed 4th and 10th in the 16 Division at the All Star Championships in 2005 and 2006.
Competed in 2006, 2007 and 2009 AKC AgilityNationals with five clean runs.
Maddie (Welsh Springer) was number one Welsh Springer in both obedience and agility for 2004.
Ruby and Kelsey (Welsh Springer) have been number one Welsh Springer in obedience in the past.
Earned conformation championships on both Maddie and Ruby, in addition to showing many other dogs in conformation, including Betsy's Jesse, Jinx, Neo, and Chloe.
Earned first MACH title on a Welsh Springer with Maddie. Placed 4th and 10th in the 16 Division at the All Star Championships in 2005 and 2006. Competed at 2006 and 2007 AKC Agility Nationals with five clean runs in 2006.
Won Ultimate Dog, 2nd in Utility and 9th in Agility with Maddie at the 2008 All Star Championships.
Earned Spy's AX and OAJ titles and AX and AXJ titles on her Norfolk Terrier, Oz. Also earned Novice titles on Storm (Golden) and Open titles Maggie (Westie) for students.
Earned RAE on Spy, Oz, Spell and Maddie.
Earned Excellent and Masters titles in agility on Spy, Oz(Norfolk Terrier), and Spell.
Also earned Novice titles on Storm (Golden) and Open titles on Maggie (Westie) for students.
Earned over 50 obedience titles and 20 rally titles on her own eight dogs, plus a CD on Gracie (Malamute) with class placements and a CD and RN/RA/RE on Diesel (Rottweiler) as well as a CDX on Casey and Dylan (Lab).

"Parker"

Parker is Linda's youngest lab and she is Lita's niece. She is a bright, bold and inquisitive puppy and Linda is looking forward to many exciting adventures ahead. Parker has been showing great promise in the field and at just 11 months old has already earned her Junior Hunter title. She's also tagging along at all sorts of fun events with Lita and Reese including Obedience trials, Agilty and Rally!

"Lita"

Lita is proving to be a versatile dog, training in Agility, Obedience and Field. Lita is fast and focused in the field and has easily earned her WC and JH and is working on Senior. In Obedience she earned her OTCH at just 3 years old with many HITs and HCs along the way. We see great things ahead for this girl.

Linda’s can always be seen with a Welsh Springer Spaniel. Reese is her current Welshie. Linda loves trying different breeds, but always has to have a Welshie girl to train. Reese is already started training for obedience, agility and the field. She is half way to her breed championship title with 7 points including a major! Reese has also already earned her Rally Novice title. Below is a video of Reese in Rally.

5th place in Excellent at the 2021 AKC Rally Nationals!!! She was actually in a four-way tie for second place!

Linda also enjoys showing dogs in conformation and she has successfully shown many different breeds, including Welsh Springers, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, German Shorthaired Pointers, an Alaskan Malamute, Samoyeds, Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, Great Pyrenees, and a Belgian Tervuren. Linda also earned a CD title--with class placements--on "Gracie" the Alaskan Malamute. She is currently training "Diesel" the Rottie with whom Linda has earned CD, RN, and RA titles! She also earned an NA and NAJ on Storm, the Golden Retriever pictured above. Linda earned NAP, NJP, OAJ, OJP, and NA titles on "Maggie" the West Highland White Terrier. Linda also trains in sheep herding, spaniel field work, and earthdog.
